Techtona’s 100% reclaimed teak unfinished options offers the raw beauty of original teak patina. Very old reclaimed teak is often is extracted from buildings in the form of beams or joists which are then milled to various widths for flooring. These beams when first milled reveal teak that has never seen the light of day. The wild variations in grain shown in the photos below oxidizes over time leaving a classic teak patina ranging from beachy grey to golden honey color with light striations.
Profile: T&G, square edged, end matched
Available sizes: ¾” x 3”- 11” x 3’-12’ and longer.
Character: Occasional nail holes, unfilled or filled with teak, sawdust/epoxy and plugs. Small checks, surface cracks filled or unfilled on demand.

There is only one way to make buying reclaimed, salvaged old growth teak more sustainable—buy it engineered. All of the textures, colors and patina shown on this website can be customized milled into engineered flooring. Techtona’s engineered flooring typically comes in ¾” total thicknesses with 4.8mm wear layers of reclaimed teak. Paneling and siding is typically sold in 9/16” total thickness with 2.5mm wear layers of reclaimed teak. When reviewing the samples below keep in mind that all can be purchased as custom engineered orders.
